•  The new Strasbourg exhibition centre, which will be completed in 2021, highlights the importance of the growth in eco-construction within the city and its surroundings. The city is looking to showcase the very international basis of this major new urban development, which underpins Strasbourg’s determination to bring nature back into the urban infrastructure. The city has teamed up with internationally-renowned prize-winning Japanese architects, Kengo Kuma, to bring the project to life.

The aim? Making wood an inherent part of the urban environment. The design features a double building with an adjoining wood peristyle, constructed to blend in harmoniously with the Concert and Conference Centre, in a location right next to the European institutions and the new Archipel business district.

• Archipel, THE international business district of Strasbourg! Located next door to the European institutions, Archipel is a potent driver for development. One of the new district’s major USPs is its combined role as a centre for both business and international services.

What’s there? 105,000 m² of office space, including 5,000 m² of premium space, 250 housing units, shops and local facilities, 10,000 m² of hotel facilities and 300 parking spaces. A pedigree development ideal for driving new opportunities in and around Strasbourg.

• The COOP is one of these outstanding projects currently underway in Strasbourg. The city is also expanding eastwards towards Germany, driven by the Deux Rives urban development project. The project is being constructed on former military grounds, which previously formed a buffer zone between France and Germany and at over 11 ha, it is one of the biggest developments in France.
